How does your garden grow?
One of the best parts about where my mom lives is her garden. At the moment it looks a little…rough because it’s hard for her to bend down, work with her hands etc. But, the coolest part is this little redwood grove she has.
It seems so magical (I know that sounds corny). But, the guy on the left is actually an albino redwood, which I guess are pretty rare.

Sunny Sonoma
I have been thoroughly enjoying my family (and the sun!) here in California. It’s so gorgeous here in Sonoma. Today we took a short drive to downtown Napa to do a little shopping.

DIY (First!)
Inspired by Maegan I did my first DIY project a few weekends ago. I made a black petal sleeve t-shirt.
Please excuse this photo. I had just finished this and wanted a quick snap before bed. Hence the leggings. And barefeet.
Anyways, it was really easy for me and I just have basic sewing skills. The chiffon was a little hard to work with because it sheds like a motherf-er when you tear it...

Look what I found a Michael’s! I really wanted this massive glitter bow (note my crazy with excitement eyes)
I jokingly put it in my hair and ended up with glitter in my scalp for days.

Breakfast (rediscovered).
I have just recently rediscovered the joys of a good breakfast. It really can sustain you through out the day. This has become my breakfast du jour. Two poached eggs on toast and half a grapefruit. Yummmmm!
